Marlie Gill
Masters Level Intern

Marlie Gill is a master’s level intern who is currently pursuing her degree at Sacred Heart University in their Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. She earned her Bachelor's degree at the University of Connecticut with a Psychological Sciences Major and an American Sign Language and Deaf Studies minor.


Marlie is passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and young adults as they navigate life’s challenges and transitions. She believes that every individual has inherent strengths and the capacity for growth, and she strives to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and valued.


Marlie's therapeutic approach is primarily person-centered, emphasizing empathy, authenticity, and collaboration. She is dedicated to working alongside clients to better understand their experiences and to help them discover meaning and purpose in their lives.


Marlie has a special interest in working with individuals who are struggling with anxiety and grief. Whether clients are feeling overwhelmed by worry, adjusting to change, or coping with loss, She is committed to providing compassionate support and practical tools to promote resilience, emotional well-being, and personal growth.
